The Guide Oman

The Guide Oman is a locally-owned destination management company that has been running tours and experiences across Oman since 2008. They’re best known for their self-drive desert safaris in the Wahiba Sands — guided group trips where you drive through the dunes yourself, with a full support crew on hand throughout. Safari season runs September to April.

As well as desert safaris, they offer private tours across Oman and corporate and group event packages. It’s the kind of experience that’s hard to organise independently — the logistics, the local knowledge, and the safety cover all come with it.
