Department of Coffee

Department of Coffee started in Sri Lanka and has grown into a small collection of international cafés focused on specialty coffee. The Muscat location is on the first floor of SABCO Commercial Centre in Qurum and is a fair bit more than just a café. There’s a main dining area, private meeting and dining rooms (a 2-seater, 4-seater, and 8-seater, all with multimedia facilities), an in-house roastery where you can watch the roasting process, and a rotating art gallery showing work from local and international artists. Food runs all day from 7am to 10pm, with a separate brunch menu until 2pm and a dinner menu from noon. They also sell retail coffee products and ready-to-drink options at the counter, though those are excluded from the WGO discount.
