Muscat Music & Art Academy

Muscat Music & Art Academy offers music, visual art, and dance classes for children from age 3 through to adults. It’s based in Shatti Al Qurum and runs programmes that are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. The academy is also a registered Trinity College London exam centre, so students can work towards internationally recognised music qualifications if they want to.

On the music side, lessons cover piano, violin, guitar, cello, and other instruments, plus solfeggio, singing, and Arabic music. The art programme includes pencil drawing, oil painting, acrylic, watercolour, and gouache — open to ages 4 to 45. Ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, choreography, modern dance, and character dance are available too, though ballet is for girls only. Students have performed at the Royal Opera House Muscat, which gives you a sense of the standard they work towards.
