Nabu Cafe

Nabu is an Iraqi café inside Souq Al Madina in Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos — one of the more distinctive spots in MSQ for breakfast or brunch. The menu draws on Iraqi cooking traditions: think breakfast platters, manakeesh, fatayer, zaatar bread, and Iraqi tea with cardamom, alongside more familiar café staples like salads, pasta, and pizza. The walnut cake and tahini ice cream sandwich have both built a following. It’s a relaxed, cosy space — good for a working morning if you’ve got a laptop, equally good for a proper sit-down breakfast with friends. Souq Al Madina itself is a well-designed community shopping area, so there’s easy parking and a pleasant atmosphere around it.
