Ghala Golf Club

Ghala Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Oman, established in 1971. The 18-hole fully-grassed course was designed by British golfer Bill Logmuir and sits in a wadi with the Al Hajar mountains behind it and sea views beyond. Narrow fairways make it a genuine test for all levels — not just beginners.

The club has over 250 members, a Golf Academy with PGA professional coaching, club fitting, and a recently renovated clubhouse — the “19th hole” — with a terrace overlooking the 9th, 15th and 18th holes.
