Grand Hyatt Muscat — Mokha & John Barry Bar

Grand Hyatt Muscat is one of Muscat’s longest-established five-star hotels, sitting in Shatti Al Qurum with direct access to the beach and views across the Arabian Sea. The WGO discount applies to two of its venues.

Mokha is the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant on the first floor, serving international and Arabic cuisine with both buffet and à la carte options. It’s well known in Muscat for its Friday brunch and runs theme nights throughout the year. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, depending on the season.

John Barry Bar is the nautically-themed piano bar off the main lobby — named after the SS John Barry, a cargo ship that sank off the coast of Oman in 1944. It has terrace seating overlooking the hotel garden and coastline, and serves handcrafted cocktails, tapas, afternoon tea and a full drinks menu.

WGO members get 20% off food and beverage at both venues, valid for one year from July. The discount is applicable on Mokha’s Friday brunch and theme nights, and at John Barry Bar outside Happy Hour.
