MEMBERSHIPS
How much does membership cost? Membership is 10 OMR per year, running from 1st January to 31st December. We don’t pro-rata – so if you join in June, you’ll pay the full 10 OMR for the remainder of that year.
How do I pay? Payment is by cash, either at one of our weekly coffee mornings or by arranging a drop-off with a committee member.
Can men join? Yes, men are welcome to join WGO. However, coffee mornings and most events are ladies-only unless the event specifically states otherwise.
Do I need to live in Oman? You need to be based in Oman to join. If you visit frequently, you’re welcome to become a member too.
How long does it take to get my membership card? As soon as your payment is confirmed and your name is approved in our system, your digital membership card will be sent to you by email.
What is the digital membership card? Your digital membership card is sent to you by email and acts as proof of membership. Save it as a screenshot in your phone’s photos – you’ll need it to access discounts with our Business Partners.
COFFEE MORNINGS
Do I need to be a member to attend? Not straight away. If you’re new to Oman and thinking about joining, you’re welcome to come along to up to two coffee mornings as a guest before committing. After that, you’ll need to join WGO or pay the full breakfast price. If you have visiting friends or family, they’re also welcome to join you and enjoy the WGO breakfast discount on the day.
Do I need to book? No booking needed – just turn up and say hello!
Where are coffee mornings held? We rotate venues each month across Muscat. Keep an eye on our website and social media for the latest location.
EVENTS
How do I book onto an event? You can book via our website, through the registration link shared with each event, or in person at a coffee morning.
Are events open to non-members? Most events are for members only. Any events open to non-members will be clearly stated when announced.
BUSINESS PARTNER DISCOUNTS
How do I use my discount? Save your digital membership card as a screenshot in your phone’s photos and show it to the relevant Business Partner when you visit.
Can someone else use my card? No — membership cards are strictly personal and non-transferable.
