Lizq Oasis

Lizq Oasis is a 15-acre organic farm in the foothills of the Eastern Hajar Mountains in Ash Sharqiyah — around 90 minutes from Muscat. It’s been farmed by Bernadette Millard and her husband Redha since 2013, growing date palms, lemongrass, moringa, aloe vera, frankincense trees and seasonal vegetables, all without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers.

Guests stay in one of four self-catering eco-cabins — Neem, Sidr, Luban and Bedaam — each sleeping two adults and built from natural date palm wood. Facilities include a freshwater infinity pool, an outdoor BBQ kitchen, a traditional majlis common room, games, and 15 acres of farm to explore at your own pace. It’s an adults-only property.

From the farm, you’re well placed for day trips to Wahiba Sands, the market towns of Sinaw and Ibra, ancient forts and wadis. Farm tours and organic produce are also available to order.
